This 23 km hiking trail was completed in 2019 as part of a citizen initiative and sustainable development to bring about the appreciation of the Manicouagan River and other local areas. It connects various sectors and other trails, allowing those that take its paths to access the Saint-Laurent and Manicouagan River. Along the way, there are many observation points and rest areas. Additionally, there are various educational and information panels on the fauna and flora of the boreal forest.
The gorgeous Sentier des Embruns is excellent for those who like taking a walk in the great outdoors and admiring the nature surrounding them. The whole trail runs along the river and offers a great view while getting exercise. Since the trail is very lengthy, it is recommended to separate it into several sections or call a taxi to return to the starting point once completed.
