Shakespeare Conservation Area

07

Thirty-two acres of land for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and picnicking are available. This small Conservation Area features a dam and pond, a pavilion and day-use area, and a short woodland trail just north of the Village of Shakespeare.

With a broad grassy lawn near the two parking lots, the site is perfect for an outdoor gathering and volleyball game. Go for a walk around the pond, enjoy the smell of the fresh outdoors, and serve iced tea to your significant other at this charming park. Use the AllTrails app to record your walk, making sure you add it to your collection! This location is also popular for bird watching, checking out the wildlife, and exploring the variety of wildflowers. At the pond, you should look for butterflies, dragonflies, turtles, frogs, and families of ducks and geese.

This area is a fine place to catch fish, usually just small sunfish with the rarer Catfish and Bass. Absolutely stunning in the Fall months!
