For all things horse-related, Shelby Ranch is where to go. They have the expected services like horse-riding lessons (for kids and adults), riding excursions on different trails, pony rides, and wagon or sleigh rides. However, they offer unique experiences they call horseback riding adventures, which differ depending on the season and time of day.
It’s not just about the horses, though; the ranch offers a Petting Farm and axe throwing! And who doesn’t want to give the old mechanical bull a shot? There’s an indoor play place called “RanchLand” and what they describe as a “bouncy Velcro sticky wall.” Plus, if you’re around in October, you can go on a haunted wagon ride that takes passengers through a spooky haunted trail with live actors.
