Sherbrooke Village

In the 1860s, timber, tall ships, and gold ruled life along the St Mary’s River and turned the town of Sherbrooke into a prosperous, picturesque village. The town acts as an incredible living museum with 25 original heritage buildings built on 53 acres.

Sherbrooke Provincial Park

Walking Trail to Archibald Lake

The hike to Archibald Lake is an easy to moderate 1.4km walk along a backroad, followed by a 1km cleared trail. The path meanders through a spectacular old-growth forest, a pretty waterfall between Rocky and Archibald Lakes, and ends at a sandy beach on the shore of Archibald Lake. An easy and fulfilling hike for your visit to Sherbrooke.

A great Bistro is offered in the heart of Sherbrooke! Right near the village and easy to find, owners Max and Margaret make you feel right at home! A great spot to enjoy breakfast, great coffee, and a freshly homemade cinnamon bun.

Also, enjoy their homemade molasses bread taste with their in-house rhubarb preserves—a great spot for a morning meal on your visit to Sherbrooke.
