Adjacent to the Slocan beach, the Slocan Valley Rail Trail is a 52-kilometre-long multi-use recreational trail. Rich with history, the trail was a former rail corridor abandoned by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1994. Initially, bridges on the trail were destroyed after the space was abandoned.
Activities here include hiking, walking, biking and birdwatching. There are also informational signs spread across the path, educating visitors about the history of the space. A perfect blend of history and nature, this trail is a must-visit!
