Spruce Grove Grain Elevator Museum

wheat pool

02

Built in 1958, this beautiful wooden grain elevator is the last grain elevator you will see west of Edmonton.

It was in use until 1995 and then preserved by the Spruce Grove ag society. It is now available for viewing as a museum so that everyone can learn about this unique piece of prairie history. Don’t forget to snap some pictures of the museum, grab a coffee, or stop at the farmers market if you visit on a Saturday.

As well, you can snap some photos with the Spruce Grove water tower. This water tower is painted with a mural to represent Spruce Grove in 1958, just a year after water and sewage had been brought to Spruce Grove.
