St. John the Baptist is a Roman Catholic church made from stone. The original building was built between 1847-1848, and the interior was renovated, and a tower was added in 1885. The church is designed in a Gothic Revival manner and has an impressive 180 feet tall tower.

The interior was altered in 1885, the renovation included a new paint design consisting of peach and pale green, which allows the light to be able to spread over the entire interior building.
