St. Martins Sea Caves

The St. Martins Sea Caves are the town’s premier attraction and for good reason. Walkers and hikers can consult the tidal charts to find the best time to walk the ocean floor to the sea caves, caverns, and arches.

When the tide rises, it erases all footsteps and fills the caves and caverns with water again. These caves are a must-see during low tide; they’re a stunning natural wonder.

St. Martins Tidal Harbour

St. Martins is a place of tidal wonder at the heart of the Bay of Fundy. A colourful fleet of fishing boats is waiting in the Bay for the high tide to rise and fill the empty harbour with water so they can unload their catch, while at low tide, the boats sit in the mud. The high tides are unlike any other, and it’s a must-see with your own eyes.
