This is a fly-in community northeast of Winnipeg, located on the shores of the Island Lake Region. You can access it by plane and boat in summer but winter road in the winter. The chief is David McDougall.

 

 

Lakes and forests surround the community, and skilled boaters/fishermen can take people out on the lake. The region includes three other communities; Garden Hill, Wasagamack, and Red Sucker Lake. The people of this land are called Anisinineewak.
