This 8.5 km loop trail is a great afternoon hike to explore the nature around Valemount and experience some of its stunning views. The trail is moderately challenging and takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete. This trail is popular year-round, being used for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain biking.

Next to this loop is a mountain bike trail system for those looking to explore more Valemount on their bikes. This trail brings you past wildflowers, to the base of towering cedar trees, across the river via a suspension bridge, and to a lookout point that gives you views over the town. No matter what method you choose, this is a wonderful trail to explore in Valemount.
