Telford Lake is named after Robert Taylor Telford, the first settler of the Leduc and the former Mayor. Telford lake is beside the Wm. F. Lede Park. At this lake, boating and bird watching are available.

The boat competitions take place at the lake in the summers and winters. The south side of the lake has the Leduc Boat Club, which offers different levels of paddling courses and organizes races. Moreover, it has an 8.2kg long trail along Telford Lake. The lake has various activities with a nice view.
