The Borscht Bowl is a restaurant you definitely need to visit during your stay in Grand Forks. They serve incredibly authentic Russian food, allowing visitors to gain insight into the Doukhobor culture, which is prominent in the town of Grand Forks.

The restaurant is family-owned, and the friendly staff will be sure to accommodate all your needs as you enjoy a perfect meal. If you want an early or late afternoon lunch, stop by, have a seat, and enjoy the delicious Doukhobor cuisine to fuel up for the rest of your day.

Between the years of 1909 and 1913, a group of pacifist Russian immigrants known as Doukhobors settled in the area because of the fertile farmland. Today, many residents of Grand Forks are descendants of the Doukhobors.
