The Islands Provincial Park makes for a fantastic weekend getaway or restful stop if you’re in the Shelburne area. This provincial park is perfect for camping enthusiasts, with restrooms, showers, dishwashing, recycling, and firewood scattered throughout the park.

Visitors can use the park’s picnic area, boat launch, unsupervised beach, and fishing sites. The grounds have a variety of forests, waterways, and islands to explore.

There are 63 different camping sites available to book in advance. These grounds are well-maintained by the Nova Scotia Provincial Parks branch of the Department of Natural Resources.
