The Last Spike is a historical landmark on the TransCanada highway between Taft and Craigellachie. This landmark marks where in 1885, the last spike was driven into the ground, signifying the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway. This area is marked with a monument beside the railway line and a gift shop.

It is a great place to stop during your journey and enjoy a picnic in their designated area.
