The Old Cayuga Railroad Bridge

04

The Canadian National Railway abandoned this massive and spectacular bridge in 1996. This bridge has five Pratt deck truss spans with riveted connections. Concrete has been used to replace certain portions of the pier. The original abutments and piers are made of stone.

Along with the main truss spans, the bridge contains a number of deck plate girder approach spans. It also has a beautiful view of the Grand River and is a great place to enjoy the views and take pictures!
