When you’re looking for a bar and restaurant with a view, Grand Bend offers many options. Willie’s Beach Bar, Whitecaps River Shack, and The Growling Gator all have expansive patios with views of the water and fun drink menus. For me, it’s The Tipsy Pelican because they have the patio, they have the view, they have the fun modern twists on classic beach cocktails, but their food menu rises above the rest.
At The Tipsy Pelican, their chef-inspired, summery menu makes sure the atmosphere isn’t doing all the heavy lifting. Try the Watermelon Feta salad, the Peach and Ricotta Toast, Steak Sliders, or the Mexican Street Corn Ravioli. Just because they’ve given you a seat with a view doesn’t mean you should have to eat third-rate grub. The Tipsy Pelican offers the best of all worlds, and once you’ve found a table, I think you’ll find it hard to leave.
