While Top of the World Provincial Park is remote, about an hour from Skookumchuck, the journey is worth it if you are in the area. Situated at the Top of the World Plateau, the park is elevated 2200 m above sea level and features peaks up to 2900 m. Several trails are available for hikers to explore the beauty of the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia.
If you are visiting in the spring, visit the Alpine Meadow for beautiful views of flowers and mountains. If you visit in the winter, you will be greeted with stunning snowy views. Cross-country skiing and ice-fishing are two popular activities at this park. For the experienced and adventurous outdoors people, Top of the World offers backcountry camping and hiking.
