Nechako White Sturgeon

Recommended by Ravi Kumar Pandit

Dwelling in the waters of the Nechako River watershed is a survivor from the age of the dinosaurs – White Sturgeon. This magnificent animal is the largest freshwater fish in Canada and has existed relatively unchanged for millions of years.

In the Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre aquarium, they offer two free tours per day. Tourists can see a batch of the releasable fishes and some big breeders.

Great place to go with kids. Riverside Park is across the street and some restaurants nearby to take a meal.

The entre is located on Burrard one right turn off Hwy 16.
