Treasure Chest Museum

03

The Treasure Chest Museum preserves the local history of Paisley and surrounding areas and showcases artifacts from the 1850s to the present. Norman Hagedorn and his wife Ina started collecting a treasure chest of artifacts for fun as their hobby and founded the museum in 1988.

They donated 3200 treasures to the Village of Paisley, now assets of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie. This collection included glassware, coal oil lamps, bath sets, small agricultural machinery, a blacksmith forge, military items, and more! Since then, Staff and Friends of the Treasure Chest Museum have set up displays with the artifacts and added them to the collection to preserve the history. Come back to the Village of Paisley as you view these wonderful collections.
