Salmon runs from late Sept to late Oct, 1 hour away from Barriere. The Adams River features an exceptionally large Sockeye Salmon run. Every fourth year is a dominant salmon run, which features rivers engorged with salmon. The last dominant salmon run was in 2022, but if you happen to miss the dominant run, you can always view the “sub-dominant” runs that occur the following year, which also feature large amounts of salmon.
Aside from the salmon, the park features beautiful trails on which you can admire waterfalls, rivers, wildflowers, wildlife, and more. The rivers of Tsútswecw Provincial Park also serve as an incredible adventure for rafters and kayakers.
