This provincial park is the perfect outdoor playground, allowing you to experience the most majestic peaks of the Selkirk Mountains and the scenic Slocan Lake. It has an outdoor adventure waiting for you, no matter what kind you are looking for. There are several beaches to bask in the sun and swim on the lake. The boat is top-rated for boaters from canoes to waterskiers. The word Slocan is the Okanagan word for “strike in the head,” referring to the salmon fishing that is abundant in the lake. The park is also a popular ground for hunting.
There are a variety of trails throughout the forest, some taking you on strolls through the woods, others treks that will take you to the peak of mountains. If you are looking to enjoy the park even more, then there are camping facilities available equipped with picnic areas, bathrooms, and campfire pits.
