Vauxhall Swimming Pool is the perfect place to escape the summer heat in the cool waters of a pool. Open seasonally from June to August, this pool offers hours of fun with its lane pool and splash and spray pools. There is a green sitting area by the poolside where visitors can picnic.

Vauxhall Golf & Country Club is a 9-hole golf course that is affordable, challenging and fun for all skill levels. While it is considered a 9-hole course, the different tee boxes for the “Front 9” and “Back 9” give players a feel of the full 18-hole experience. Take your time enjoying the course and the environment that surrounds the area. On the course, you will see “Erkine’s Tree,” Caragana bushes, and it is not uncommon to see prairie wildlife such as rabbits, geese, and hawks.

Vauxhall Legion Park is a beautiful green space in the town center. There are picnic and recreational facilities, including tennis/ pickleball courts and playground equipment. If you are looking for a quiet spot to admire nature and the town and enjoy your lunch underneath the shade of large trees, then Vauxhall Legion Park is the place to go.

The Jet Stadium is home to an elite high school baseball program. The Stadium’s history goes back to 1956, when it was built by the Vauxhall Jets. The Jets team had entered one of the best amateur leagues in Southern Alberta in the early 1950s and won several times. They soon progressed to the Provincials, where they reached the finals twice, winning in 1956. Today, the stadium continues to be a place for many talented young individuals who are passionate about the sport of baseball.

A quiet environment to relax and enjoy nature, Vauxhall Lions Campground is an open space away from the bustling noises of the busy city. At the campground, there are 30 power stalls with free firewood provided on the first night. Visitors will also find two kitchens with potable water and fridges, a playground, horseshoe pits, mini-golf, volleyball court, baseball diamonds, soccer fields and more.
