Craigflower Schoolhouse

This colonial-era schoolhouse was built in 1856 to provide education for Hudson Bay employees and their children. This manor and school acted as a community focal point in the Craigflower Farm area for an entire century until Canada designated it as a Natural Historic site in 1975.

Today, this manor schoolhouse is open to the public as a cultural exhibit, museum, and protected heritage site of Canadian history.

Six Mile Pub

This historic English pub is the oldest in British Colombia in the historic town of View Royal. Its roots in the community are old, tracing back four generations of ownership.  During the Prohibition Era, it was not uncommon to find locals breaking the law to gather here and drink, and during the post-World War I era, the Six Mile Pub experienced a rapid boom in clientele and patronage. All the while, Six Mile pub has remained a neighbourhood focal point for over a century.

Francis King Regional Park is another marvel of beauty in View Royal on the outskirts of Victoria. Compared to Thetis Lake, this park is smaller at 11km of trails and is a more secluded forest spot for quieter hikes and walks.
