Located approximately 12km northeast of the Town of Wakaw, Wakaw Lake Regional Park is among the busiest Regional Parks in Saskatchewan. Formerly a 3-room elementary school building, the Wakaw Heritage Museum hosts a collection of artifacts and gives visitors the opportunity to explore a variety of themed rooms, including the military and medical displays, a schoolroom, a 1942 residence display, and a shoemaker’s shop. With four 5-pin automatic lanes and scoreboards, the Wakaw Bowling Alley is a great place to enjoy a friendly bowling competition with family and friends. The alley can be rented out to accommodate meetings, get-togethers, or parties and is equipped with a kitchen, chairs and tables, and washrooms.

As well as being a quiet, family campground, the Shannon Lake Campground features a number of activities, including birdwatching, canoeing, and fishing. To provide the best possible experience, the campground offers a number of amenities, including picnic tables, showers, modern washrooms, sewage disposal, fire pits, and fish-cleaning facilities.

Receive a wide, open space to set your camping gear and kick back. At the Henry F. Hudek Memorial Park, sites can be rented daily, weekly or seasonal, and can be either an electrical site or not. Fees must be paid at the Town Administration Office (106 Main Street). Once all fees are paid, toiletries and power will be provided, and the fun will begin!
