Welcome Beach

Welcome Beach is one of the rare sandy beaches on the Sunshine Coast.

If you feel like sticking around the Halfmoon Bay area, take a quick five-minute drive north on Redrooffs road and discover the beauty of Welcome Beach. No street public directional signage and limited parking make this quiet beach with mostly locals.

Big Tree, Addernach, Lee’s Big Easy, 4D, and Shakecutter’s Loop

Located 400m before Trout Lake and 9 km north of Sechelt on Highway 101, this 4.5-km loop trail near Welcome Beach is a hidden gem.

The hike here is pretty easy, but you must stay on track to make sure you don’t get lost in the tiny interconnected trails. The loop generally takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete. The trails are pet friendly but require them to be on a leash.

Perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and walking, visit this quiet trail to get in touch with nature.
