Outdoor
excellent view

Whonnock Lake is the perfect place for kayaking, canoeing, or stand-up paddleboarding. Paddle boats can be rented there. There are plenty of areas to sit and sunbathe, either on the sandy beach or in the grass. There are also two docks to jump off of, although I can’t personally recommend swimming for too long as the water is fairly murky. The kids might even be able to spot some frogs and tadpoles along the shoreline!

Whonnock Lake Centre is occasionally rented out as a wedding venue. You can imagine the beautiful wedding photos on the dock with the lake, trees, and mountains in the background. An amazing view, no matter if you are attending a wedding, basking in the sun, or paddling a boat.
