Wiarton Willie Festival

01

February 2nd

Wiarton is home to the Wiarton Willie, a Canadian groundhog that comes out every year on February 2nd to predict an early spring.

The Wiarton Willie Statue sits on the beautiful waterfront with views of the Niagara Escarpment. Located within a well-kept park, several picnic spots and play areas for kids make it a popular tourist attraction year-round.

Guests who visit on February 2nd can enjoy the Wiarton Willie Festival, which dates to 1956.
