William’s Lake is situated in the charming Grey County hamlet of Chatsworth. As part of the Niagara Escarpment, Chatsworth has abundant natural beauty, including several streams, rolling hills, rocky outcrops, and woodlands. Hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, AT Ving, swimming, boating, canoeing, hunting, and fishing are great ways for visitors to reconnect with nature.
William’s Lake is a large, 148-acre lake with a clover-shaped form. On the south side of the lake, there is a public beach and a boat launch. The lake is turquoise in hue and spring-fed. Anglers can test their prowess by capturing Large or Small Mouth Bass, Perch, Panfish, or even Brook Trout on this popular body of water for boating and fishing.
