The Altona Winter Carnival is a fun event that is hosted each year for families to participate in. The carnival is held annually in late January/early February.

Some fun activities that are included in the carnival are a scavenger hunt, a cardboard toboggan contest, a Lego building contest, and a snow sculpture building contest. The winners of each of the contests receive a prize!
