Don’t miss this unique object 20 minutes from Bashaw.

Standing at the height of 42 ft. high (12.8 m) and 17 ft. wide (5.18 m), the Donalda & District Museum houses the World’s Largest Lamp. Officially opened in 2000, the lamp was built to complement the extensive oil lamp collection in the Village of Donalda.

Made of steel and fibreglass, the lamp lights up at dusk each night and overlooks the Meeting Creek Coulee, a major travel way for early aboriginal civilizations. It is located approximately 20 minutes from Bashaw and is a must-visit attraction!
