Windfields Park is on the former site of E.P. Taylor’s Windfields Farm, which he founded in 1937.
Born in 1901, Edward Plunket Taylor was a philanthropist and Canadian business tycoon. He was most notable for the Thoroughbred racehorses and for shaping the Canadian horse-racing industry. Taylor’s Northern Dancer won the 1964 Kentucky Derby.

Located in a historic building from the 19th century, The Miller Tavern is an amazing restaurant that serves lunch, an all-day menu and a roast on Sundays. The Miller Tavern used to have a hotel as well, but due to a fire, they moved towards a new venture of the now seafood restaurant!
