The Zec Martin-Valin territory contains more than 650 lakes, and there are countless fish species in each of those bodies of water. Depending on your preferences, many lakes have parking lots and landing areas, while more than half can be accessed by porting. Specifically, Lake Guimond—introduced in 2018—allows those with reduced mobility to fish safely without needing a boat. In addition, Lake Guimond has a dry toilet, a 50-meter-long wooden platform that leads to the lake, and a floating platform that helps launch your line to a further distance.
No need to fret if you are not a fisher! You can instead choose to hunt, ride boats and canoes—both are available to rent—or reserve one of their semi-furnished campsites. There are a bunch of different pricing packages available, so make sure to check out their website for FAQ and booking information.
