History

Little Prairie Heritage Museum was originally a general store and post office downtown. The museum provides a good sense of the history and culture of Chetwynd and the surrounding area with its’ small but intimate setting.

The museum is unstaffed but offers a unique assorted of artifacts and antiques and displays an old trapper’s cabin from the 1920s.
