This beautiful park is home to two walking trails heading to the marina port to see the boats on the blue waters of the Saint-Laurent. These trails are ideal for hiking and cycling, passing through the wooded forest with a gorgeous waterfall where people can immerse themselves in the sounds of nature. It also contains a playground for kids, an outdoor gym and petanque area, a huge event stage, picnic tables, and much more!
Many sculptures are found on the grounds of Parc des Pionniers, which are rotated every few seasons. There is also easy access to the plage Champlain (beach), where you can enjoy the water and go for a swim or kayaking. If you come for a visit in the wintertime, you can experience the famed Quebec sugar shacks and go skating. If you’re in the area for a vacation, you must drop by Parc des Pionniers to partake in its wide range of activities!
