A beautiful white sand beach to visit is the Hawk on Cape Sable Island. At the beach, visitors can enjoy the water and play in the sand, or walk through the 1500-year-old forest, currently filled with tree stumps that can be seen when the waters are at low tide. This is also a great location for bird-watching and is a designated part of the Cape Sable Important Bird Area. The Cape Sable Lighthouse is also visible from this beach.
