A very old pre-industrial outdoor kiln constructed in the early 1900s used to make lime, a substance needed to create concrete for constructing buildings. This lime kiln is currently undergoing restoration by the town of View Royal for preservation as it is over a century-old site. This kiln is a living relic of the past that invites you to discover the undiscovered history of pre-industrial British Colombia.
