Alberta’s Iron Horse Trail

01

People from Lakeland started the legacy in 1999 by preserving the trail and park system so future generations could enjoy it.

This park trail took over two decades to construct. With a length of 300 km, it is also the oldest and longest continuous route in Alberta. You can pause to tour the local culture and check out the pool hall and barbershop. All-terrain vehicles, hikers, snowmobiles, and other users use it generally.
