Aylmer Wildlife Management Area (AWMA) is a park that provides opportunities for visitors to view wildlife and become more educated about these distinct habitats in Aylmer. It comprises conifer/wildlife shrub hedgerows, croplands, goose pasture, tallgrass prairie fields, and wetland ponds. Next to the sanctuary are viewing stands, with a wheelchair accessible one.
Other activities are hunting (including waterfowl), hiking, and birdwatching. Picnic tables and trails are also available in the area. This sanctuary is an annual staging area for Tundra Swans, whose migration can be viewed from the observation decks, with local swan experts available on-site for guidance. Dog walking and training are permitted but with restrictions.
