This Heritage Centre tells the story of the Black Loyalist journey from Africa to the American colonies, Nova Scotia, and back to Africa in the late 18th century. Visitors can experience a multimedia presentation of this journey and even speak to some of the staff, who are descendants of the Black Loyalists.
The site is situated on a two-acre property overlooking Shelburne Harbour. They offer a guided tour as well as virtual tours and presentations. They have an archaeological pit to explore, which contains historical artifacts.
