The Butter Tart Festival is one of Canada’s Best Summer Food and Drink Festivals.

At the inaugural Butter Tart Festival in June 2013, the festival sold out of the 10,000 butter tarts available for sale by 11 a.m.  The number of butter tarts available for sale increases yearly (we are now up to 150,000 to 200,000 butter tarts available for sale), as does attendance (65,000 butter tart lovers visited the festival in 2019).
