Dominion Point Municipal Heritage Site and Walking Trail

A scenic picnic area in Clay Cove with a walking trail to Municipal Heritage Site, Dominion Point. Otters, shore birds and seals are commonly seen here. It is believed that the Beothuk Indigenous People of Newfoundland arrived around 1 AD and once lived at Dominion Point.

There is also an Anglican cemetery that dates back to the 1700s. Accessible from the Freshwater Inn. Please be considerate to the Inn owners, their guests and those who lived here centuries ago.
