The Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church was constructed between 1863 to 1865 and became a Registered Heritage Structure in 1995. It is one of NL’s few stone churches that still stands today. Specifically, it is of a Gothic Revival style. You can find beauty not only in the church itself but also in the surrounding area, as you get an unbelievable view of Ferryland Harbour, The Pool, and the meadows of The Downs and Ferryland Head!
Original features like the pitched gabled roof and the arched gothic windows deserve to be admired in person and up close.
