The Hotel Tadoussac seems to belong to another era. The spectacular copula and many dormer windows lend a somewhat antiquated elegance to this lovely wooden building dressed in a serene blend of scarlet and white.
The first Hotel Tadoussac was built in 1864 by wealthy Montreal and Quebec City citizens. It featured a broad facade of twelve windows and three stories. In 1888, the hotel underwent its first complete renovation. In the autumn of 1941, the aging structure was torn down.
