A 240-acre gem of wetland and woodland right within the city. Laurier Woods offers over 10 kilometres of well-maintained trails, boardwalks, benches, and several ponds teeming with wildlife.
Birdwatchers, photographers, and nature lovers will feel right at home here. The trails are easy to moderate, making them accessible for families and casual hikers.
It’s free, open year-round, and one of the quietest escapes you’ll find this close to a city centre. A newer boardwalk section was added in memory of a local man who loved the area — a lovely touch.
