North Bay’s magnificent waterfront on the shores of Lake Nipissing is the heart of the community. Sandy beaches, walking paths through beautiful gardens, a 250-slip marina, picnic shelters, volleyball courts, and a fully accessible playground make this an ideal spot for families.
The Kate Pace Way — named after the North Bay–born alpine ski champion — is a 12-kilometre paved multi-use trail that follows the shoreline from the waterfront southeast to Callander. Walkers, joggers, cyclists, and inline skaters share it year-round.
Pair your walk with a stop at the Heritage Railway, the museums, or simply a bench to watch one of those famous Lake Nipissing sunsets.
