The Oratoire Notre Dame du Mont St Joseph is a small chapel that can be found on Mount St Joseph. It is a place of Catholic worship, originally constructed in 1935 and renovated in 1955, and was deemed an official heritage site of Carleton-Sur-Mer in 2003. The establishment is very high up on Mount St Joseph, with an altitude of approximately 555 metres above sea level.

The architectural features inside the building are also remarkable, with the space being hexagonal-shaped and much fascinating detailing on the panels comprising the roof. For those looking to practise their faith during their travels, the Oratoire Notre Dame du Mont St Joseph is the perfect place to visit, as you’ll also get to enjoy the scenic views while so high up on the mountain!
