A gentle, well-maintained walking trail circling Perry Lake — a wetland paradise just minutes from the centre of town. Created by the local Ducks Unlimited Canada committee, it honours Grant Perry, an outdoor enthusiast and longtime community member.
Viewing mounds along the trail provides information about the wetlands and wildlife. You’ll find nesting boxes, a bird blind, and bat houses along the way. Great blue herons, bald eagles, osprey, and dozens of warbler species have been spotted here.
It’s an easy, accessible walk — perfect for families, birdwatchers, and anyone looking for a quiet moment in nature. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.
