The main street of the former town of Saint-Jovite is one of the most charming stretches in the Laurentians. Historic old homes have been converted into restaurants, bistros, cafés, boutiques, and antique shops.
Terraces spill onto the sidewalk in summer. In winter, it’s a cozy scene of warm lights and steaming windows. The street is walkable, relaxed, and unpretentious — exactly the opposite of the resort village.

This is where locals eat, shop, and gather. That’s the best recommendation any main street can have.
