A food lover’s paradise on Rue de Saint-Jovite. S. Bourassa is a wholesale grocer open to the public since 2002, and the cheese selection alone is worth the detour. Local Laurentian cheeses, charcuterie, fresh produce grown in Saint-Jovite greenhouses, baked-in-house bagels, fondue kits, and organic and specialty items fill the shelves.
Don’t be fooled by the warehouse-style exterior — inside, it’s a treasure hunt. Regulars call it the best food store in the region, and the prices are genuinely good.
Pick up picnic supplies here before heading to the lake or the mountain. You’ll eat better than most resort restaurants, and for a fraction of the price.
