St. George Falls

Once called First Falls, the town’s original name, St. George Falls, is definitely worth a visit. Here you can observe the gorge, watch for osprey overhead, or observe Atlantic salmon maneuvering the fish ladder.

It’s a fantastic spot to take in the wonders of nature.

Ducks Unlimited Walking Trail

This 15-to-20-minute walking trail leads you on a scenic hike through marshes and wetlands alongside the lovely Magaguadavic River. It’s the perfect walking trail to not only get some fresh air and exercise but to witness all the joys of nature and the beautiful things that the area has to offer.

The trail starts on Marsh Lane behind Granite Town Farms.

Granite Town Farms

The area was surveyed in 1786. First called Magaguadavic, it was renamed Granite Town after the nearby red-granite quarries.

Granite Town Farms is a family-owned-and-operated, award-winning wild blueberry farm on the beautiful Bay of Fundy. During harvest season in August, they offer only the freshest, most high-quality berries, but all year round, they off that same high-quality in fresh-frozen blueberries.

They also offer a wide selection of specialty gourmet products – jam, hot pepper jelly, spreads, syrups, chutney, vinaigrettes, salsa, relish, teas, wine, and more. Stop by any time to view, taste, and experience the wild blueberries of Granite Town Farms.

Eagles Nest Picnic Area

At this nature site, walking trails, a gazebo, and a picnic area have been set up to take the beautiful views and stunning nature. An eagle’s nest is perched across the basin, and seeing one of the majestic birds here is an incredible experience. This is the ultimate peaceful spot to enjoy a picnic lunch!

Day Adventure Center and Boat Launch

Located right on the Magaguadavic River, this is a fantastic spot to start your kayak or canoe adventure. Many locals keep their watercraft docked here, and its placement offers a perfect starting point into the river. The river flowers over 70km and offers plenty of space for boating, paddleboarding, or more you might want to partake in!
